After providing higher-studies scholarship to over a hundred students over the years, since 2010, HELP awarded 73 students with scholarships this year. An event was organised on August 6, 2016, to hand over the scholarship to the students in a bid to encouage them and to provide guidance.

Member of Parliament, Hon. Rabindra Adhikari, Member of Parliament, Hon. Gagan Kumar Thapa, Actress Rekha Thapa, Media Personality Dil Bhushan Pathak, Youth Activist Brabim Kumar and NAC Pilot, Capt. Srawan Rijal had graced the event with their presence. The guests shared their experiences with the children and provided them guidance as to how to utilise the scholarship for the betterment of their future.

Also present on the occasion were friends of HELP and teachers from the various schools from Sindhupalchok. The children were excited to receive the guests, so were we at HELP.
